Teen Relationship Quiz: Healthy, Iffy, or Not Cool?

Let’s be realβ€”figuring out relationships is tough, especially when you’re young! Our quiz helps middle and high schoolers check if their friendships and relationships are actually good for them.Β

Are your friends supportive when you want to try new things?
Does your crush get mad when you hang with other people?

These early relationships might seem like “just teen stuff,” but they’re actually setting patterns that can last a lifetime. Without someone pointing out what’s healthy and what’s not, many young people mistake jealousy for love or control for caring. The skills teens learn now about standing up for themselves and communicating clearly will help them in every relationship they have.

Why This Matters for Teens:

    • It builds their BS detector. When teens know what healthy relationships look like, they’re more likely to walk away from people who try to control them or put them down. They learn that butterflies in your stomach shouldn’t come with knots of anxiety.

    • Their school gets safer. Let’s face itβ€”drama and relationship issues create a ton of school problems. When students understand boundaries, there’s less bullying, fewer hallway fights over relationship drama, and kids feel safer being themselves.

    • They learn skills that last forever. Learning how to speak up, listen, and work through conflicts without ghosting or blowing up doesn’t just help with datingβ€”it helps with everything from family disagreements to dealing with difficult teammates or future coworkers.

    • They can break family patterns. Many teens grow up watching unhealthy relationship dynamics at home and think that’s just how relationships work. This gives them a chance to say, “That’s not what I want for my life” and choose something better.
